Hydraulic Ball joint Snapper 8,8T, 34-37mm
Description
Ball joints in control arms and tie rods on heavier EV, hybrid, SUV, light commercial vehicles and light trucks can be tightly seized and significantly larger than on traditional vehicles. These often require more force and extended reach for access.
Aluminium and long, thick steel tapers do not allow hammering on the vehicle parts, as the material is soft and deforms. The tool is designed to support the steel sleeves so that they remain in the aluminum knuckle while simultaneously pressing out the balljoints tapered pin. For extra force, hammer blows can be applied, but only on the tool’s press piece. The rotating anvil has the following dimensions: 34 mm and 37 mm. The two spacer rings included in the kit make the tool adjustable in length. Wheel bolts can also be removed and installed.
For maximum safety, a safety strap is included with the tool. It should be secured in a suitable location to prevent the tool from falling during use.
Used with 700 bar hydraulic pump 1030 or 1036.
