Drive shaft installation kit, hydraulic

With this kit, you can easily install drive shafts with a press fit in the wheel bearing splines – even in cases where the thread for the axle nut does not protrude through the wheel bearing.


This is made possible by the thin yet very strong adapter sleeves (M16x1.5 to M30x1.5), which fit inside the splines of the wheel bearing and provide correct positioning and engagement of the adapter
during installation.
 
The result is a controlled and safe installation – eliminating the risk of damaged boots or drive shafts caused by hammering, as well as preventing damaged threads often resulting from installation using the original axle nut.

Two working methods – adapted to your needs

1. 01–00062 – Manual installation
   Used together with standard hand tools for a simple and controlled installation.
   
   
2. 01–00062–050 – Hydraulic installation
   For faster and more ergonomic work, the kit is used together with hydraulic cylinder 03–00015 (8.5T) not included in the kit. This provides increased efficiency, reduced physical strain, and shorter working time – ideal for high-volume workshops.
