On the Road in Canada – Workshop Visits During Truck World 2026

During Truck World (April 16–18) in Toronto, we took the opportunity to go beyond the exhibition floor.

Together with Lou from OE Tool & Diagnostics, one of our local resellers in the Toronto Bay area, we spent one day visiting workshops already using Wallmek tools in their daily work.

This gave us a valuable insight – not just into how the tools are used, but how they actually change the way workshops operate.

From Theory to Reality – Tools in Daily Use

Seeing tools in a catalogue or at a trade show is one thing.

Seeing them in action, in real workshop environments, is something else entirely.

Across all visits, one thing became clear:

The biggest difference is not just power – it’s workflow.

Working directly on the vehicle, reducing unnecessary disassembly, and avoiding time-consuming press work creates a smoother, faster, and more controlled process.

Oakville Import Auto Centre – Practical Efficiency

Together with Daniel, we saw how jobs that traditionally required removing components and using a workshop press are now completed directly on the vehicle.

The result is clear:

- Less downtime per vehicle

- More jobs completed per day

- Reduced strain on both technician and equipment

Polfix Automotive – Control in Tough Conditions

Joe demonstrated how seized components that previously required heat or cutting can now be handled in a more controlled way.

With the right hydraulic setup, even difficult dismantling jobs become predictable rather than uncertain.

We also looked at the spring compressor HSC2018 and best practices when using it.

NextAuto Mississauga – Speed and Consistency

At NextAuto, the focus was on consistency in workflow.

By standardizing how certain repairs are performed, technicians reduce variation between jobs – leading to faster turnaround times and fewer complications.

Du-Finch Services Ltd – Heavy-Duty Perspective

Marlin showed how the same principles apply even in heavier applications.

Handling larger components safely and efficiently is not just about force – it’s about control, stability, and using the right method from the start.

Finishline Auto – Everyday Productivity

At Finishline Auto, the benefits were visible in everyday operations.

Small time savings on each job quickly add up, improving overall workshop productivity without increasing workload.

A Common Result Across All Workshops

Despite different types of workshops and applications, the feedback was consistent:

Reduced working time, especially in difficult dismantling cases

Less need for alternative methods such as heating or cutting

Improved ergonomics and safety

More predictable results in complex jobs

In short, it’s not just about completing the job – it’s about doing it in a better way.

More Than a Trade Show

TruckWorld gave us the opportunity to meet customers and showcase our solutions.

But the real value came from being out in the field.

By working closely with local partners like OE Tool & Diagnostics and visiting professional workshops, we continue to develop tools that are not only powerful – but practical.

Developed by mechanics. Proven in real workshops.
