Workshop visit at Eddies Autobody

Eddie and Carol Lupinek, who run the business, greeted us warmly. Their workshop stands out for its focus on quality and craftsmanship. During our visit, we led on-site training, demonstrating ways to use their tool system even more efficiently.

Throughout the day, we worked with their Senior Mechanic, Kyle, and the rest of their team. The focus was on practical applications – how the tools are combined, how the correct adapters are selected, and how the hydraulic system is used to apply controlled and safe force. By working directly on the vehicle, it quickly becomes clear how the tools are intended to be used in real-world situations.

It is always interesting to work directly in an active workshop environment. Every shop has its own routines and working methods, and the best discussions often happen right there – next to the vehicle, in the middle of the job. When mechanics start combining parts of the system themselves and finding smart solutions, it becomes clear how a flexible tool system really comes into its own.

Visits like this are not only about training. They are also an opportunity for us to listen. Many of the ideas that later become new tools actually start in conversations on the workshop floor. When technicians explain what works well – and what could be improved – we gain valuable input for future development.

After a few hours in the workshop, it was clear that the team at Eddie’s Autobody had strengthened their knowledge of the tool system. The visit resulted in improved efficiency with the tools, a deeper understanding of their applications, and increased confidence in integrating new techniques into their daily workflow.
